Kelly Performance Labels are a multi-purpose label ideal for long-run high heat print jobs on laser printers, copiers, and digital presses. The labels have a smooth finish and a 96 bright premium opaque rating. These products use a high-tack permanent adhesive.
When printing on labels there is always the chance of the adhesive “oozing” due to the high heat and pressure used in digital printing. This “ooze” can contaminate the copier or printer and cause jams and mis-feeds. The unique feature to this product is that Kelly Performance Labels have a different adhesive formula that withstands heat better than normal labels. In addition, each label has the adhesive precision applied. In fact the adhesive is not applied to the exact edge of every label, but instead the adhesive stops just short of the edge. This doesn’t affect the label from adhering to whatever it is applied to, but instead reduces the chance of “oozing” adhesive contaminating your printer. This is why these labels are recommended for long-run, high heat print jobs.
